Here we present you a list of districts just outside of the city center:

• Retiro: This district is almost entirely composed of the Parque del Retiro, one of the most significant parks in the Spanish capital. These gardens have origins from between 1630 and 1640.
• Arganzuela: The most popular neighborhoods of this district are Legazpi, located in the southeast district, which is home to the Madrid Planetarium and the IMAX at the park Enrique Tierno Galván. You will also find Delicias, with several interesting buildings (especially industrial architecture), and Atocha, which covers a wide area from Lavapiés to the Atocha train station.
• Salamanca: This district, which borders the Paseo de la Castellana, Alcalá, María de Molina and Francisco Silvela, is known as a wealthy neighborhood where some of the most luxurious shops of the city are located.
• Chamartin: This district houses some of the most important headquarters in Spain. Among its attractions, you can find the National Auditorium of Music, the Museum of Natural History, the Museum of the City, the Parc du Canal de Isabel II, and the Stadium of Real Madrid, Santiago Bernabeu.
• Tetuan: Tetuan district is highly diverse, both architecturally and socially. Because of its location within the city, its very well connected and has a great commitment from the local government. This district is currently experiencing a period of revitalization and redevelopment.
• Chamberí: This district is administratively organized into six districts: Gaztambide, Arapiles, Trafalgar, Almagro, Vallehermoso, and Ríos Rosas. The architectural interest of this district lies in the extraordinary abundance of modernist buildings, Gothic, and Neo-Mudejar reliquaries that decorate the neighborhood.
• Latina and Moncloa-Aravaca: Latina is a district whose name is often confused with another district called "La Latina", located in the historical center of the city. Moncloa is a district with a large area of green zones such as the Casa de Campo park which is considered the main green area of the city.
• Carabanchel and Usera: Carabanchel is a historic district. It is located between the M-30 and M-40. It is near the city center, about 15 to 20 minutes away by public transport. On the other hand, Usera is a district created in 1987 and composed of the Orcasitas neighborhoods, Orcasur, San Fermin, Almendrales, Moscardo, Zofia, and Pradolongo.
